The final meeting of the AL4LIFE Project Management Board was held

In her opening remarks, vice-rector prof. dr Sanja Peković, the project leader, highlighted the importance of involving alumni in curriculum modernisation, teaching, research, and collaboration with the business sector. She particularly emphasised the institutionalisation of alumni structures and their role in enhancing study programmes, strengthening university-business links, and improving employability of graduates. She also underlined the development of tools for communication with alumni, which contribute to fostering a sense of belonging and long-term connections between universities and their alumni/graduates.

Vladan Perazić presented the status of activities at the consortium level and outstanding obligations. Filip Petrović outlined UoM’s activities, including industry donations, events for developing students’ skills, and initiatives to strengthen alumni relations. Prof. dr Jelena Šaković Jovanović, asst. prof. dr Marija Jevrić, and teaching assoc. dr Jovana Janinović shared their experiences of alumni involvement in teaching and in collaboration with industry. Ana Zdravkov presented past and future cooperation with the alumni community in organising career development events for students. During the first day, all partners presented the activities and results from the past year of the project's implementation.

On the second day of the meeting, the University of Donja Gorica provided a detailed presentation of the UDG Alumni platform by Milica Janković, as well Alumni Club "Medožuč" and its cooperation with the Student Business Center by Nevena Jovanović, CEO and  Tijana Bajčetić, member, then the Entrepreneurial Nest, and the youth organisation "Junior Achievement Montenegro" Nikola Micunovic, CEO, while the representatives of UDG, Bojana Malisic, PhD, Assist. prof.  and the University of Pristina in Kosovska Mitrovica, Miloš Subotić reported on the status of activities and remaining obligations for whose implementation they are responsible at the project consortium level within WP1 and WP5. In her opening remarks, doc. dr Sandra Tinaj, the project team member emphasized that this project stands out as one of the most impactful initiatives for University of Donja Gorica. 

 The final meeting confirmed the importance of international cooperation and active alumni engagement in university life. The continued operation of alumni communities ensures the sustainability of the project’s results, strengthens links between academia and industry, and supports the ongoing improvement of educational and professional opportunities for students and graduates.
